Who (or what) killed the Middle Ages? I know what it was. You may think it was probably just a decline in economy like here in America; but that is not it. So what did cause the downfall of the Middle Ages? What caused it, was a little thing that we know as, the flea.
The black death killed peasants and destroyed their towns and homes. Worst of all it broke down medieval Europe and was one of the biggest causes for its down fall.
